The Productivity Manager has the supervisor of carrying out the operational development of the best work cycle, in accordance with the technical objectives, quality, productivity and costs.
It promotes initiatives for continuous improvement of both operational and information processes in order to improve safety, ergonomics, quality and costs.
He identifies the annual productivity targets and, in collaboration with the other departments, defines the necessary activity plan by monitoring its progress.
He will also be designated as project manager to execute strategic projects for the growth of the plant. He will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within the allocated budget and meet the required quality standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinates the production process analysis activities, ensuring the optimal operational development of the work cycles and times to be assigned to each operation for each production phase, verifying the efficiency of the process day by day;
Defines new work cycles for new products, providing complete costing of the product;
Coordinates the activities of updating the bill of material in the products in the range;
Provides work instructions for all assembly lines;
Educate, advise and train staff to apply, support and develop a culture of continuous improvement;
Conduct continuous improvement events as a subject matter expert, allowing operational staff and employees to present improvement ideas and proposals;
Promotes and defines corrective actions, process / product improvement projects in terms of productivity, quality / functionality, safety and costs;
Assumes the role of Project Manager on strategic plant projects by acting as a facilitator in problem resolution;
Coordinates cost reduction activities to achieve productivity targets.
Develops, monitors and reviews project management deliverables and activities;
Communicates and receives feedback from the project team;
Requirements:
Industrial Engineering Degree with proven management experience;
At least 5 years of experience as an industrial engineer in the field of processes, methods, continuous improvement;
In-depth knowledge of the plant's production machines and production processes, as well as of the analysis tools for times and methods;
Competence in Office (Word, Excel and Access) and Autocad;
Excellent knowledge and application of Lean Thinking;
Fluency in English;
Proactivity, autonomy, problem solving and relational skills.
