Job Summary

The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating the production planning of multiple programs, ensuring that priorities are respected.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Support the needs and expectations of other functions to facilitate internal coordination, strengthen teamwork, ease collaboration, manage task interdependencies and constraints, and remove obstacles to success by promoting synergies, timely decisions, and effective actions to maximize overall business performance.
2. Guarantee the execution of production orders respecting the deadlines established with the Customer.
3. Coordinate activities required for processing production orders.
4. Provide timely checks relative to production’s progress, generate periodic reporting, identify and monitor program risks, and take appropriate corrective actions.
5. Report to Administration, Finance & Controlling on progresses and issues related to the production monthly plan.
6. Provide backlog data and production costs to the Company’s Management Control System.
7. Provide the Quality Department with the Planning & Program Management Process KPI, as the Company has ISO EN 9100 Certification.
8. Upon receipt of Customer order, organize Contract’s review and provide the relative Order Acknowledgement.
9. Participate in Change Control Boards (CCB) convened by Configuration Management to evaluate the impact of proposed changes on deliveries.
10. Prepare, maintain, and update the production plan, with support from Assembly & Testing.
11. Coordinate with Procurement the availability of materials for the production plan.
12. Coordinate activities related to product maintenance and repair.

Qualifications And Skills

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar roles in manufacturing companies.
2. Good knowledge of the English language.
3. Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
4. Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
5. Good team player.
6. Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a similar field.
