Production Operator

Recruiting Solutions is seeking Production Operators for one of the largest manufacturers of roof flashings and accessories in Piedmont, SC! This position offers 8 hour shifts, temp to hire opportunity, and starting pay of $18 per hour. Production Operator Benefits:

Production Operator Responsibilities:

• Measuring material and pattern cutting
• Sheet metal work including shearing, punching, bending, grinding, chop saw, soldering, band saw, etc.
• Plastic membrane work including cutting, forming, and welding
• Assisting with shipping and receiving as necessary
• Safety awareness of machinery and workplace
• Physical checks of production and quality control
• Cross train
• Other duties as assigned

Production Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined
• Operate hand tools such as a grinder, drill, skill saw, and other common small tools
• Previous shop labor or sheet metal experience
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Computer skills
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Work well with a team and positive attitude
