Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timelines and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification in Frosinone. Main stakeholders are R&D team, manufacturing quality and related areas. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Leading and managing projects and activities during the life cycle of the electronic products after the release for sales, managing interdependencies between cross-functional workstreams to realize specified deliverables and benefits.
2. Managing cost, schedule, and performance objectives of the projects and its work packages within a global organization, taking into consideration requirements and demands coming from customers and from internally within ABB.
3. Ensuring appropriate requirements within the projects and understanding of customer value in projects.
4. Ensuring transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events, and identified risks and ensures that they are properly managed and communicated.
5. Managing all product variants and customization requests in accordance with the ABB gate model from the request to the release for sales.
6. Work closely with the product manager, operations, sales units, development teams, providing the best solution to fulfil the business case and customer satisfaction in terms of response and delivery time, quality level, and product performance.
7. Transfer new products from the R&D development team to Operations with all the set of documentation (BoM, Working Instruction, Spare parts list, Product Manuals…).

Qualifications for the role

• You hold a master’s degree in Electronic or Electrical engineering
• Positive spirit, proactivity, teamwork, quickness and problem solving orientation; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects
• You are innovative around manufacturing technologies
• A very good knowledge of MS Office, and 2D/3D CAD systems is further required
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English
• You are willing to travel
