All about the role
As a Product Care Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for all factory functions and external stakeholders. You will drive product care initiatives, continuously enhancing our products to improve customer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence.
We seek a collaborative team member who can maintain and improve existing products in terms of quality, cost optimization, and technical support for factory-based short-term product challenges.
What you’ll do
- Creation of CAD models using Catia V5, from 3D models to the issuance of detailed drawings for the production of components and assemblies.
- Development of alternative design proposals, support for prototyping and experimentation to validate the optimal solution in terms of cost, quality and productivity.
- Generation and management of complete technical documentation, for all designed components and assemblies, including all technical specifications.
- Participate in projects providing strong technical support from target definition to the implementation in production.
- Responsibility for technical support to the factory within the assigned product ranges (for example, to guarantee the production continuity, improve productivity while maintaining product quality in line with the highest standards, and assist in the reduction of rework).
- Management of quality improvement and cost optimization activities within the assigned product ranges.
- Building the Bill of Material structure within the MRP environment and working with the Engineering Design group to support.
- Input definition for Bill of Material and Bill of Material editing in MRP system.
- Organization of tests and piloting series with the Production.
- Understand technical test results to make decisions on design development & final approval.
Who you are
- High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience developed in product development processes.
- Knowledge of mechanical component and system development, with expertise in 3D CAD (ideally CATIA V5).
- Proficient in quality tools, FMEA.
- Comfortable using common applications like MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
- Thrive in a multicultural environment and enjoy international collaboration.
- Fluent in English, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Where you'll be
This is a full-time position, based in Electrolux Food Preservation site in Susegana (Italy), about 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment.
