Role Title: Process Technologist – MFT Analytical & Process Development

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Process Technologist to join our Analytical and Process Development team (A&PD) within the Manufacturing Technology (MFT) department. The role involves the development of new test methods for QA purpose, support to continuous improvement of quality control laboratories at Manufacturing locations, participation to NBD activities in support to prototypes definition and scale-up to Manufacturing locations.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Manager for Analytical and Process Development, the ideal candidate will be asked to deliver improvements in alignment with Infineum priorities, with focus on COGS through optimized and more sustainable test methods and application of machine learning (ML) principles for reaction monitoring and quality assurance.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the development of new analytical methods to measure product’s characteristics, with particular focus on spectroscopic techniques, including PATs.
- Ensure quality standards are applied at Infineum and 3rd parties QC Laboratories, including periodical verifications to ensure compliance to Infineum Quality Management System.
- Participate to internal or external training on the new technologies applied in formulation and analytical matters to grow in role as subject matter authority.
- Prepare and/or verify technical documentation to support experimental work (ex: lab notebooks, batch records) for both internal and customer use.

A successful candidate is likely to have:
- Minimum: Master’s degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, or equivalent scientific degree with consolidated experience in the field of analytical chemistry. Preferrable: PhD in Chemistry/Polymer science or similar scientific disciplines.
- Problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions from first principles.
- Experience in dealing with Chromatography (GC, HPLC, GPC), Spectroscopy (UV, IR, NIR, atomic spectroscopy) and techniques for elemental analysis determination (ICP-AES, XRF)
- Knowledge of chemometric techniques applied for spectral data analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO17125 standards and their applicability to Quality Assurance laboratories.
- Awareness for safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
