Overview

To join our team in Forli, we are looking for:

PLC Technician (Automation)

Responsibilities

1. Execute maintenance care Plans (at break and planned).
2. Implement software program improvement.
3. Provide technical expertise in PLC specific field.
4. Improve reliability of the unit by implementing repair recommendations.
5. Provide oversight to the specific discipline.
6. Support Maintenance Team in daily and planned activities related to automation.

Qualifications

What YOU will bring to the team:

1. Knowledge and understanding of PLC, SCADA and ABB HMI (family Freelance AC 900F) programs.
2. Familiarity with CPU PM902F linked to remote profibus RIO stations.
3. Knowledge and understanding of Siemens PLC family S7.
4. Industry experience preferably in Plastic/Engineering Materials Compounding, Manufacturing in similar roles.
5. Ability to work in a team and with multiple functions.
6. Energy and the drive to improve maintenance activities.

Desirable Knowledge:

1. Able to define and share a general overview of the situation.
2. Able to analyze and report issues and possible solutions to the supervisor.
3. Able to negotiate with key positions in the MTTC organization.
4. Able to relate with peers, subordinates, and management at all levels.

Required education & experience:

1. High School degree in Electronics or similar.
2. 3 - 5 years of experience in complex manufacturing companies as a PLC technician.
