Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated PLATFORMS WAYSIDE V&V ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy.

Experience needed:

1. Proficient in writing and or modifying C code
2. Past V&V experience, writing and executing tests
3. Knowledge of Computer architecture, Operating System and Embedded systems
4. Experience with performing and documenting design and test activities in accordance with CENELEC Standards
5. English: upper intermediate level required
6. Experience using Java object-oriented language
7. Experience with SQL/Relational Database
8. Experience of cybersecurity, networking and systems protection
9. Knowledge of STS products and processes

Required skills/Knowledge:

• For 3 up to 5 years of technical experience in Railway environment.
• Excellence in Achieving Assigned Objectives.
• Collaboration and International Development.

Education/Qualification:

Master's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent Technical Background.

Languages:

Fluent in English.
