PLANT FINANCIAL MANAGER

Our client is a large Multinational Group, with almost 50 plants in Europe, leader in metal products technology.

We currently have a vacancy for a PLANT FINANCIAL MANAGER in one of their factories in Emilia Romagna.

Posizione:

In this role, you monitor, together with the plant manager, the financial key performance indicators of the plant, according to the Group accounting rules, IFRS, and local statutory requirements. You are an active member of the plant management team and you manage the finance department.

You prepare and analyze budget and rolling forecasts, ensuring reporting is delivered on time in full. You monitor manufacturing costs and analyze variance against standard manufacturing costs, supporting the other plant departments in analyzing their cost performance.

You control, alert, and implement corrective actions in case of identified financial issues. You participate actively in the continuous improvement programme to achieve World Class Performance in the finance area.

Requisiti:

• You have a degree in Business Finance Control/Accounting with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• You possess a strong knowledge and understanding of costs and variances of manufacturing accounting.
• Well organized, good planning, methodological, and attention to detail skills are key competencies.
• You have good coaching and management skills, with an open mind and good communication skills.
• You are able to work in a high-pressure environment to tight timescales.
• You have advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and VBA), with sound experience in JDE, SAP, or another ERP.
• Besides Italian, you are fluent in English; French could be a plus.
