Scope

PC&L: Material Control & Planning Manager / Procurement

The position could be based in any European Tubes Site.

Main activities

1. Lead the MC&P Team of the cluster.
2. Lead material requirement calculations and optimizations.
3. Based on S&OP, MPS, scheduling and MRP.
4. Calculate requirements for Quantities, deliveries, transports for all suppliers.
5. Share with suppliers forecast and firms’ requirements.
6. Identify bottlenecks and suggest solutions.
7. Suggest and value (Technical, P&L, Stock… Impacts) different scenarii for decisions.
8. Manage Suppliers according to contracts, secure availability of materials and components for the plants.
9. Define Escalation rules with Purchasing Dept and Manage Second level.
10. Optimize and manage material stocks and corresponding surfaces. Deploy associated improvement tools: JNI, Cross docks…
11. Contribute to Industrial performance and P&L through optimization of material global costs (Cost of goods, footprint, transports, MOQ, stock & surfaces …).
12. Lead SLA (Service Level Agreements) process, negotiate in association with Purchasing organization, master corresponding data (in SAP …). SLA shall contribute to customer satisfaction, lead time reduction, stock, and cost reductions… SLA shall include MOQ, Lead time, OTIF, Quality, Stock agreement, transport, securization, CSR action plan, including tool landing contracts… not exhaustive…
13. Manage Material planning and scheduling tools (SAP, routines … and associated tools): Deployment, Implementation and Training of teams.
14. Lead Material Master data process (Articles, suppliers, packaging, transports, MOQ …) (in SAP …) for optimized and rigorous calculations.
15. Contribute to stock accuracy with plant and PC&L improvement team.
16. Contribute to transport reduction costs with Transport Project Manager.
17. Lead packaging optimization project for suppliers’ materials and components.
18. Lead crisis team on global supply chain when required and suppliers are involved.
19. Contribute to new product launches (NPL) and lead associated MC&P activities: SLA update or creations, new orders, stock build … see corresponding processes.
20. Contribute to production transfer processes and lead associated MC&P activities: SLA update or creations, new routes, stock build … see corresponding processes.
21. SAP Key user for material control and procurement.
22. Contribute to HSE best practices definitions and deployment for Material scope.
23. Contribute to Customer satisfaction improvement (OTIF, deliveries…) and lead specific projects.

Stock (€ and DIO) for BOP (Bought out parts)
