Gi Group SA is looking for an Out Licensing Manager for the Commercial Division at its HQ in Ticino for our customer, a Swiss Pharmaceutical Company.
Your tasks:
Develop and execute licensing strategies to maximize revenue and market presence.
Identify potential licensing partners and evaluate their fit with the company's goals.
Negotiate international distribution, licensing and supply agreements and business terms with the support of the company legal department.
Collaborate with Business Development on possible in-licensing activities.
Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Scouting and analysis performed on databases (Global Data, iQVIA, desk research etc.).
Collection and analysis of information and data relevant to therapeutic setting and competitive arena.
Preparation of presentations for licensing and internal purposes aimed at valorisation of potential deals, commercial discussions, contracts negotiation and their finalizations.
Participation in licensing events.
Manage financials including sales forecasting, control of product revenues, payments, costs and pricing structures (including P&L, NPV, Payback period model & analysis).
Collaborate with product strategic teams to align licensing strategies with product roadmaps.
Your qualifications:
Degree in relevant scientific or economic discipline.
+3 years of experience in any of the following roles: Licensing, Business Development, Marketing, Sales or Alliance Management.
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Keen understanding of the licensing landscape (basic understanding of intellectual property laws and licensing regulations are a huge asset).
Product management skills advantageous.
Financial acumen and understanding of business valuation.
Able to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Strong negotiation skills.
Fluency in English.
