NHOA Energy is a global leader in utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), headquartered in Milan, Italy, with international operations in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
As an O&M Manager, you will be responsible for managing and actively contributing to the safe operation and ongoing maintenance of the facilities, to ensure availability and performance of the system, playing a key role in designing, crafting, and implementing a world-class after-sales service at NHOA.
Reporting directly to the Head of Service EMEA, you will oversee and perform the O&M activities with a truly customer-centric and results-driven approach, supporting our clients for the projects located in Sicily. Considering the increasing business of NHOA in Italy, other projects may be considered additionally in the future years.
Tasks and Duties:
- Manage and be responsible for O&M of the project(s) under his/her responsibility, with accountability for the profitability of the service contract(s) in coordination with the Head of Service.
- Actively support (or act on behalf of) the Head of Service in managing Client relationships and O&M contract(s) under his/her responsibility, ensuring coordination with Contract Management team in managing claims and contract responsibilities.
- Support the Performance Monitoring team in day-to-day online monitoring, recording, identifying, and handling any trouble which may affect plant operation and general project functionality for the project(s) under his/her responsibility, collaborating with NHOA Performance Monitoring team to perform troubleshooting and root cause analyses.
- Planning and managing of preventive and exceptional corrective maintenance activities, coordinating NHOA O&M Technicians and eventually third-party contractors.
- Collaborate with the project execution team (project manager, project engineer, commissioning team, etc.) to ensure plant operations will meet all obligations/performance guarantees and company standards.
- Support the definition of pricing tools and standard documents/templates for setting Service and O&M proposals to NHOA’s customers providing feedback from the field.
- Support the Head of Service in providing inputs to Business Development and Techsales teams to prepare Service and O&M proposals to NHOA’s Customers.
- Support the Head of Service in ensuring Customer retention through the continuous focus on customer satisfaction during the contract period in line with NHOA Customer Value Proposition.
- Provide feedback to Head of Service and R&D team to deploy and keep up-to-date automatic tools suitable for data collection reporting and analysis (dashboard data analysis process) for internal and external use.
- Provide feedback to Head of Service, Engineering, and R&D teams to identify product improvements and analyze the possible implementations.
- During high growth conditions, support training to O&M Technicians.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the Service processes and procedures by providing indications and guidance.
- Manage parts and services purchase on the service project(s) under his/her responsibility in coordination with the Head of Service, using online management tools provided by NHOA.
- Manage invoicing on the service project(s) under his/her responsibility, in coordination with the Head of Service and in collaboration with NHOA Finance team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or High-school Diploma in technical subjects (electrical/electronic or similar).
- 5+ years’ working experience as service, O&M, or commissioning technician.
- Italian native speaker and basic knowledge of English language.
- Basic knowledge of industrial PLC.
- Driving license.
- Previous work experience with utility-scale energy production/exchange systems (BESS, PV, wind, traditional power plants, HV substations, etc.) will be considered a plus.
