Pinnacle Solutions is looking for a Nondestructive Inspection Technician to work in Namest, CZ. The Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Technician performs duties for H-1 Series aircraft in the Czech Republic. The NDI will perform non-destructive testing of metals in aircraft structures and aircraft/engine components. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Employs operational risk management principles.
- Performs ground maintenance tasks and repairs on aircraft and mission systems components.
- Interprets technical manual/correspondence (i.e. instructions, drawings, diagrams).
- Identifies and diagnoses aircraft and mission systems malfunctions.
- Documents all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in a maintenance management database system.
- Orders parts and materials needed for maintenance/repairs.
- Provides training via self-paced readings, labs, and on-the-job training to individuals in the performance ground maintenance duties.
- Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools/test equipment, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).
- Performs shift “All Tools Accounted For” (ATAF) inventories and attends all hands Foreign Object or Debris (FOD) walk downs to maintain standards that comply with FOD and Tool Control procedures.
- Maintains and accounts for all batteries in the inventory and assigned to aircraft and GSE.
- Requests and receives aircraft materials from supply system and ensures applicable technical directives have been complied with prior to installation/use on aircraft.
- Prepares, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.
- Uses common measuring tools, measuring gages, alignment fixtures, and special tools.
- Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
- Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities, as directed.
Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of recent experience as an NDI Technician.
- Successfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government NDI Technician course.
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms or similar aviation maintenance management system, and other aircraft-related documentation.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
- Possess a valid issued driver’s license.
- Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
Education:
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Seven to ten (10) years of directly related experience.
- CDQAR experience desirable.
- Level III NDI desirable.
- Associate degree.
- FAA A & P.
