We are looking for a Network Project Manager freelance in Naples.

Responsibility

The 3rd largest cruise operator globally is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT NETWORK PROJECT MANAGER to join our dynamic and international team in Naples. As IT NETWORK PROJECT MANAGER you will be responsible for designing network solutions, managing complex network projects, executing and guaranteeing smooth and efficient operations across the cruise operator's global network solutions, ensuring adequate security levels, and governing the company’s IT projects.

Key Accountabilities

1. Reporting directly to the local IT Network Manager;
2. Design, build and sustain complex Network (SD-WAN, DC-LAN, Cloud, WIFI, Firewalls, Load-Balancers, Satellite Solutions);
3. Provide technical expertise to develop new product strategies, provide inputs against new solutions/applications or enhancements;
4. Identify the adequate network solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company;
5. Ensure compliance in alignment with Security guidelines and contribute to the design of security;
6. Set up and optimize IT Processes, IT documentation, and management reporting;
7. Interact with business units and vendors;
8. Manage Budget of related areas;
9. Contribute to complex IT projects & programs, including software development;

Skills

1. At least 7 years’ proven experience in Networking and Project Management areas;
2. Fluent in English, oral and written. Any other language is an advantage;
3. Master's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent;
4. Proven experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, F5 Load-Balancers, HPe or Cisco WiFi and LAN, Azure/AWS Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Networking, SD-WAN;
5. Proven experience in Design and Build/Coordination/Project Management;
6. Network or Security Certification (CCNP/ACSA or CCSE or similar) is nice to have;
7. Experience with SASE and Network Automation is a plus;
8. Experience in supplier’s governance and services setup & management;
9. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
10. Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment;
11. Ability to operate under stretched timelines and to identify priorities;
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Economic and Professional Conditions Offered

We are looking for freelance profiles with immediate availability, willing to start in April 2025. We offer a freelance contract of one year duration, renewable, with a daily rate of 320 Euros.
