The Digital Arena for Inclusive Humanities (DAIH), led by Prof. Dr. Marco Rospocher, is currently seeking computer science scholars who are passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art in Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in the areas of Knowledge and Natural Language Processing, to apply for a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marco Rospocher.
At DAIH, we are at the forefront of exploring AI techniques for Inclusive and Digital Humanities. Our research focuses on advancing AI methodologies, techniques, and tools with a particular emphasis on their application to Digital Humanities, especially languages and literary studies. DAIH is an interdisciplinary hub of excellence in digital technologies and computational methodologies applied to languages and literary studies, focusing on fostering inclusion. Born within the framework of the University Departments of Excellence 2023-2027 funding scheme by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research (MUR), our center catalyzes interdisciplinary synergy between computer science, particularly Artificial Intelligence, and the humanities, specifically linguistic and literary studies. Our overarching goal at DAIH is to promote inclusion across research, infrastructure, training, and the dissemination of scientific content, aiming to address disparities, inequalities, and discrimination in modern society.
Prof. Dr. Marco Rospocher brings over two decades of expertise in Artificial Intelligence, especially in Knowledge and Natural Language Processing.
Selected candidates will be offered academic and administrative support from the Centre / Department and the University of Verona Grant Office regarding the proposal preparation.
