Responsibilities

As part of the staffing increase of the Smart Engineering team, NTT DATA is looking for a Model Based Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the Automotive field.

The resource will deal with the development of control algorithms and Model-based SW. He/She will follow the MBD model, from requirements analysis to the development of controls and automatic code generation in C.

The ideal candidate has a degree and has gained minimal experience in model-based software development.

Mandatory Skills:

1. BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Model Based Design development using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow programming language.
3. Experience developing code in C (Targetlink or Embedded Coder)
4. Excellent knowledge of code versioning systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
5. Knowledge of real-time systems.
6. Knowledge of MISRA C rules and guidelines
7. Knowledge of the main debugging techniques and algorithm optimization techniques
8. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools

Nice To Have Skills:

1. Knowledge of the CAN communication protocol and the tools normally used for debugging the control units
2. Strong aptitude for teamwork
3. Troubleshooting
