We are working with a pioneering biotech company specializing in neuroscience, seeking a Medical Director, Europe to play a critical role in clinical research, launch strategy, medical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be instrumental in driving medical excellence and establishing the European medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Leadership: Serve as the European medical lead, building the team, guiding launch readiness, lifecycle strategy, and brand planning in collaboration with global teams.
2. Clinical Trial Strategy: Provide medical oversight for clinical trial strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with regulatory and commercial goals.
3. Cross-Functional Impact: Work closely with EMEA and global marketing, commercial, and regulatory teams to ensure medical strategies align with business objectives.
4. Scientific & Medical Affairs Strategy: Oversee scientific communications, external engagement, and medical review of promotional materials.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead advisory boards, symposia, and congress activities, acting as the key liaison with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
6. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing medical team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence.

Who You Are:

1. Medical Affairs Expert: 15 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including hands-on involvement in industry-sponsored clinical trials.
2. Neuroscience & Psychiatry Expertise: MD Psychiatrist or Neurologist preferred; an MD with a strong background in CNS, psychiatry, or neurology is highly desirable.
3. Strategic Thinker & Leader: Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive medical strategy across Europe.
4. Biotech Mindset: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-risk, innovative environment where agility and collaboration are key.
5. Global Perspective: Experience working in a biotech or pharmaceutical company with a European or international scope.
