He/She will be in charge of coordinating the Mechanical Experts team that supports the Service Engineering department in:
The resource will be in charge of translating PrEM’s needs into clear deliverables, agreeing on the budget for the activity, planning the deliveries in accordance with the project milestone, and following up the activity exploitation in order to respect the critical path, preventing delay.
He/she will also be involved in the tender phase, in order to quote the effort needed for the activities required to build the general budget of the project. He/she will be responsible for managing the office workload, allocating the different projects over time to the resources with the scope to have a regular distribution of the working load without affecting projects by delay and avoiding overload or underload of the people. He/she coordinates also external resources in case workload is higher than office capacity.
The candidate should be able to lead Mechanical Study for railways application, which could interest both trains or train sub-components. He/she will coordinate a group of designers leading the concept design by regular gate review, to consolidate the project in accordance with Rolling Stock or Platforms requirement.

The candidate should also have experience or at least base knowledge regarding mechanical construction, Finite Element Analysis, and Thermal Analysis. Experience in the railway field and railways normative awareness will be taken into account as preferential for the candidate evaluation.
