Mechanical Engineer

FAAC Group, world leader in access automation, parking and access control, including 50 sales companies, more than 3,700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer that will be part of our department of Product Development in Bologna.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Components design
2. Designs creation in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards
3. Prototype testing and solution validation
4. Direct involvement in new product development activities from the R&D phases to series production. Attitude in working in a multidisciplinary team
5. Involvement with external production processes (Supply Chain) for product feasibility and co-design phases
6. Editing of technical documentation and risk analysis

Key Requirements:

1. 3-4 years of experience in engineering role or related experience
2. Mechanical Engineering Degree
3. Experience in 3D design modeling (NX/Solid Edge as a plus)
4. Good knowledge of the English language
5. Knowledge of concurrent engineering methodologies will be considered a plus
6. Creative approach, as well as curiosity for innovation and learning
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to achieve great results
8. Excellent problem-solving skills
9. Flexible approach to work in a team environment and the ability to adapt to change
10. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
