MDB Designer/Firmware Developer

RAICAM is expert in the design, development and production of brakes, clutches and actuators for the automotive industry and now faces the new challenge of smart mobility crossing the future with the passion of origin.

We are looking for a FIRMWARE DEVELOPER to develop, debug and test firmware in a development team dedicated to smart mobility projects in our Site located in Mondovi (Cuneo).

General Requirements

1. 5+ years of expertise about firmware development
2. Good Experience on managing complex FW project for embedded system
3. Good Experience in development of control system/algorithm and code generation (Embedded coder)
4. Skills in problem solving attitude
5. Able to work independently

Technical required skills

1. Deep practical knowledge about ANSI-C
2. Deep practical knowledge about Mathworks toolchain.
3. Experience in real time system is preferable
4. Knowledge of automotive network and vehicle architecture, based on CANbus
5. Knowledge of most common standard coding rules, such as MISRA rules.
6. Familiarity with software configuration management tools and defect tracking tools.
7. Experience on Boot loader is a plus
8. Functional safety ISO26262 knowledge is a plus
9. RTOS knowledge

Typical works include

1. Development of software modules from driver layer to application layer.
2. Integrating existing software modules to work together.
3. Testing the developed software ensuring that it adheres to the standards and customer requirements.
4. Creating technical specifications.
5. Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.

1. Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow Compiler/Linker/Debugger
2. Compiler/Linker/Debugger/ Trace tools on embedded systems
3. Vector Informatik tools (CANalyzer, CANdb++)
4. Oscilloscope, Tester
