Materials Innovation Manager, Milan

We are looking for a Materials Innovation Manager to join our Sustainable Innovation Department based in our Milan Headquarters.

Your Impact

As the Material Innovation Manager, you hold a pivotal role in leading innovative initiatives and driving advancements within our organization's material landscape. Your primary responsibility is to identify, initiate, oversee, and monitor innovative projects in collaboration with our suppliers, start-ups, and various business functions.

Activities

1. Identifying, launching, managing, and monitoring innovative projects with our suppliers, start-ups and involved business functions.
2. Analysing and scouting innovative opportunities, materials and technologies.
3. Collaborating with all departments to ensure the project goals and deadlines are met.
4. Researching and comparing new materials, solutions, processing technologies to improve knowledge and material library, ensuring that the database is properly organized and updated.

Who We Are Looking For

1. Undergraduate background in Chemical and Materials Engineering, Management Engineering, or any other relevant scientific background.
2. 8+ years of experience in R&D and project management within structured companies or consulting firms.
3. Knowledge of Supply Chain management in the textile industry, printing, and dyehouse.
4. Technical knowledge of textile chemical engineering and processes and/or materials science.
