We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts. The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing our marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engage our audience, and support sales initiatives. Tasks & Responsibilities
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and develop seasonal marketing campaigns following the overall brand strategy
- Execution and operative responsibility for international marketing campaigns
- Planning and coordinating of national marketing activities in main and emerging markets in cooperation with local colleagues and in alignment with the international brand objectives
- Monitor and analyze the campaign performance and optimize strategies to maximize effectiveness
- Product Marketing:
- Create compelling product messaging and positioning for Wild Country's climbing gear and equipment
- Develop marketing materials, including workbooks, lookbooks, and digital assets
- Work closely with the product development team to understand product features and benefits
- Social Media Management & Athletes Management:
- Oversee Wild Country's social media channels, including content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement
- Develop innovative strategies to grow our social media following and increase brand awareness
- Manage relationships with sponsored athletes and ambassadors
- Collaborate with athletes to create engaging content and storytelling opportunities
- Communication & PR:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and press relations.
- Develop and distribute press releases and other PR materials.
- Cultivate relationships with key media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- International Business Support:
- Support online business initiatives, including e-commerce marketing and digital advertising.
- Work closely with the international sales teams to develop trade marketing activities and support materials for international wholesale partners.
- Collaborate with our retail partners to execute co-marketing initiatives and promotions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management and campaign development
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies in the outdoor industry or a related field
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Passion for outdoor adventure and familiarity with the climbing community are preferred
