We have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our Investment Vector Marketing EMEA Team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, covering a parental leave and will be based in Milan.
Multi-lingual skills are desirable (Italian and English essential).

The Marketing Executive Italy will support the delivery of a wider ranging set of marketing initiatives and plans focused on delivering the commercial and brand outcomes abrdn seeks to achieve.
About the Role
In collaboration with the Marketing Director EMEA build the Marketing Strategy and build the operating model to deliver including:
Support and inform the delivery of brand, thematic and product campaigns within the markets:
Digital Marketing Strategy roll out, with the support of digital colleagues:
Event strategy and management:
Deliver Marketing Activity and initiatives to time, scope and budget with a focus on maximizing opportunities and return on investment.
Supervise marketing content production from Investment Capability Marketing team. Assist with re-purposing global marketing content; ensuring materials are revised to meet local compliance and brand requirements; work closely with channel marketing managers to develop new and innovative marketing collateral to support initiatives. Ensure suite of content is available to meet ‘always on’ promotion and campaign needs.
Press agency relationship management, maximizing abrdn press coverage on focus themes and funds.
Discover opportunities to improve marketing processes across the EMEA Marketing team.
Ensure all EMEA Marketing activity follows global standards and processes.
About the Candidate Requirements
A marketing professional with early stage experience working as part of a channel marketing team. Highly motivated, flexible, teammate, great attention to details, personal initiative and ability to carry out projects in autonomy are a must with a proven B2B / B2C track record.
Understanding of the asset management industry and sophisticated client engagement. Knowledge of financial markets, preferably gained within an asset manager or financial services firm, as well as of different asset classes and investment styles. Experience in the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns on and offline.
Experience of working alongside Distribution and developing collaborative take to market and conversion plans. Experience of working as part of a cross functional project team to deliver a common goal. Sound organizational and scheduling skills.
Competent digital literacy (ideally SalesForce, Eloqua, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) to perform job duties listed above.
Teamwork: Displays willingness to collaborate and learn from others, including peers.
Commerciality: Takes steps to understand the market, competitor activity and market.
Experience of working in a business to business industry is desirable. Multi-lingual skills are desirable (Italian and English are a must). Previous experience of working with colleagues from different countries is desirable.
