Marketing & Brand Strategy Director

We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing & Brand Strategy Director who is passionate about lifestyle, fashion, and luxury. This individual will be responsible for creating storytelling and marketing strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of all marketing plans in collaboration with the owner.
2. Create and develop unique storytelling to translate into strategic execution and achieve company goals.
3. Ensure that the storytelling created is executed and aligned to the brand strategy and company vision.
4. Coordinate with operation departments to always be updated in regard to anything worth sharing with the audience, and planned activities and events to create content accordingly.
5. In collaboration with the owners, create a strong brand message and identity across all channels (events, newsletter, web pages and social media).
6. Ensure the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
7. Responsible for building and delivering marketing campaigns, ensuring key messages are consistently delivered.
8. Analyse performances of marketing campaigns.
9. Prepare and manage annual budget for the department.
10. Set and monitor team’s objectives, priorities and goals.
11. Actively participate in the recruitment and training activities of the marketing department in collaboration with the HR department.
12. Conduct strategic marketing analysis and reporting.
13. Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes to drive interest and sales.
14. Manage PR activities, brief press and PR team about new products and ensure positive feedback.
15. Oversee social media planning and execution.
16. Collaborate with managers across all departments to create innovative marketing and branding strategies.
17. Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
18. Manage relationships and collaborations with agencies and external partners.
19. Attend meetings, marketing events and conferences.
20. Identify new business opportunities and new product introduction.
21. Develop promotions with advertising team.
22. Analyse market trends and competitors.

Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
2. At least 5 years’ work experience in the marketing field with at least 3 years in a management role.
3. Previous experience in hospitality and lifestyle sector is mandatory.
4. Fluent level of both spoken and written English is required; good level of both spoken and written Italian is preferable. Any additional language spoken is a plus.
5. Experience and proof of running successful marketing campaigns.
6. Exceptional managerial and leadership skills.
7. Strategic and analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
8. Superior interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Deep knowledge of Web Analytics, CMS software, social media and Google Adwords.
11. Comprehensive knowledge of business and brand management.
