Entrepreneurial company founded in the 60's in Central Europe and has never stopped growing their markets and product portfolio, with a huge focus on R&D and product innovation.

Their catalogue varies from military applications to food & beverage, with easy-to-install products.

Job Description

The Managing Director, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Aligned with global policies, reviews, updates and implements strategic business planning, including financial performance and new product development;
  • Sets KPIs, leads and monitors the budgeting process to meet sales goals;
  • Deploys new standards and quality road-map to achieve higher targets aligned with global growth;
  • Fosters long-term partnerships with existing clients and represents the company in front of potential new clients;
  • Ensures operations are at all times compliant with Group policies and standards, particularly for HSE and ISO certifications and policies;
  • Ensures successful project management processes, aiming to meet client expectations from request to installation;
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills through empowering, collaborating, coaching, and mentoring the human capital;
  • Leads the change management process (both cultural and organizational), ensuring an open and collaborative environment at all levels.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has an Engineering Degree in Electronic, Electric or Industrial Automation, with proven experience in sales leading roles within the Industrial Automation industry, preferably from components or sensor manufacturers.

A solid understanding of project management, combined with a customer-oriented mindset, is highly preferred. High problem-solving skills, bringing solutions and opportunities to the table, and managing problems autonomously are essential.

The new manager needs to be capable of gaining trust with a hands-on approach, deploying engaging manners for the necessary turnaround process after many years of healthy traditional governance.

Fluency in English and Italian is required; German is a plus.
