Management Accountant

Role Overview

An experienced Management Accountant is sought to join the finance team in Italy. This role is critical in ensuring financial control, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision-making support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy sector and be adept at financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics.

2. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

3. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and business performance.

4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

5. Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision-making.

6. Monitor and control costs to optimize financial performance.

7. Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

8. Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.

9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with company objectives.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred).

2. 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in the energy or renewable sector.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

4. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.

5. Knowledge of Italian accounting standards and tax regulations.

6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

7. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

8. Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
