The candidate application data is kept on the career site servers and sent en-mass back to the Workday tenant when the user clicks submit on the last step. Once the user hits submit, we make POST requests with that data to multiple REST end-points sending the job application back to the Workday tenant. The system will clear out / time out after 60 minutes of inactivity (for records that were not submitted back to Workday).

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Planner - Activity Planner to join our team in the beautiful city of Lucca, Italy, and play a key role in ensuring the success of our maintenance operations agreement.

The agreement aims to optimize maintenance planning and resource allocation, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in our customer’s paper mill.

Main Responsibilities:

As Maintenance Planner, you will report to the Maintenance Manager of the project and you will be a crucial member of Valmet’s Maintenance Team in Lucca, responsible for:

  1. Ensuring safe operations by adhering to HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and updating work procedures.
  2. Planning and managing daily maintenance operations and prioritizing tasks with the Area Manager.
  3. Supporting supervisors in organizing weekly planning meetings and creating schedules.
  4. Optimizing resource planning, including internal and external resources.
  5. Organizing shutdown planning meetings, scheduling tasks, and tracking resources.
  6. Ensuring efficient use and optimization of the CMMS (SAP), including data analysis and application improvements.
  7. Assisting with spare parts and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Supporting TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and long-term maintenance planning.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in scheduling and planning maintenance work, preferably in similar industries.
  2. Proficiency in SAP, along with technical documentation, including spare parts and drawings.
  3. A good level of English (written and spoken); Italian will be considered a plus.
  4. A proactive, safety-oriented mindset with excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
