All about the role:

As maintenance manager you will develop and implement solutions for preventive maintenance and ensure prompt solutions to maintenance issues in a safety, lean and green environment.

What you will do:

You will report operationally and functionally to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and lead the Maintenance Team. You will also support the Engineering Manager to define the Maintenance budget and collaborate with Central Teams e.g. participation in Central Manufacturing Engineering, Green Spirit, Safety and other activities.

In detail, you will:

1. Ensure that safety rules are known and respected.
2. Define Maintenance strategies, guidelines and objectives, controlling the implementation.
3. Plan Maintenance activities and coordinate them (internal and external).
4. Provide guidelines for the definition of necessary spare parts and equipment to ensure availability in accordance with business requirements.
5. Actively participate in developing new equipment specifications to assure the flow of improvements.
6. Participate in acceptance tests of new equipment.
7. Create master data of all equipment in the maintenance system.
8. Define strategies for lean management of Maintenance tasks.
9. Participate in defining strategies and criteria for management of contractors.
10. Actively share and implement best practice solutions locally.
11. Perform technical and commercial risk assessments related to maintenance aspects.
12. Introduce and control performance indicators for Maintenance.
13. Control costs that are within maintenance responsibility in accordance with the annual budget.

Who you are:

• Technical Degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance roles and at least 3 years in leadership positions.
• Experience in safety and risk management.
• Knowledge of lean management.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

You will be based in Electrolux's main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment.
