Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift

Job Description

Talento Search Group has an opening for an Maintenance Electrician in the Elba, Alabama area. This is a direct hire position on 1st shift. The pay range is $20-23.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for performing manufacturing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and making repairs to all electrical equipment and services within the manufacturing facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical manufacturing equipment to maintain production requirements,
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
• Run conduit as needed for production & facility equipment
• Recommend equipment and process improvements
• Ensure that all Safety/LOTO/NEC procedures/codes are adhered to
• Assist with equipment installations at the primary and secondary manufacturing facility

Experience Needed:

• HS-Diploma or Equivalent - Associate in Industrial Maintenance or similar
• Minimum 3 years current experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of NEC codes
• Knowledge of TPMs
• Working knowledge of fabrication/welding helpful
