Machine Operator ll -2nd Shift

We need someone who can:

1. Have 1-2 years of experience and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Work in a fast-paced environment and be physically active.
3. Lift up to 50 lbs, including bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other activities as needed.
4. Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time and work in cold and/or hot temperatures.
5. Operate machines safely with minimal supervision.
6. Communicate and problem solve with coworkers and perform basic math.
7. Obtain necessary production specifications.
8. Relay information to coworkers and management.
9. Work different ranges of hours, including overtime or weekend shifts (Hours for this position may change based on production schedule).
10. Complete a post-offer, pre-placement background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up and pre-run the equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
2. Control line speeds, batch formula production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product quality and safety.
3. Conduct various quality checks.
4. Complete all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP SOP's Safety operation training as appropriate).
5. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or rubber boots.
6. Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
