Logistics & Warehousing Operations Manager

APR Headhunting is supporting a long-established company in the Food sector, based in Ancona, which continues its growth and expansion. In this context of transformation, we are looking for a Logistics & Warehousing Operations Manager, reporting directly to the COO, with the following key objectives:

1. Manage and optimize end-to-end warehouse flows and space usage, from inbound to outbound, in line with industry best practices and current safety regulations.
2. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, visibility, and traceability of operations.
3. Define and monitor KPIs for the area of responsibility.
4. Strategically lead and manage logistics partners, from network design to day-to-day operations.
5. Coordinate and supervise inventory activities, ensuring optimal stock management.
6. Design and implement lean-optimized processes to ensure high service standards, effective budget control, and the ability to anticipate and adapt to market fluctuations.
7. Represent the function in corporate and organizational projects, bringing a logistics perspective and contributing to their successful implementation. Build strong communication and collaboration channels to ensure integrated activity management and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Mentor the team through active listening, training, support, and the promotion of continuous learning to foster individual development and motivation.

Requirements:

1. At least 15 years of experience in similar operational logistics roles, ideally within structured and international environments.
2. Fluency in Italian, English, and Spanish is essential, as the role involves daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries.
