Make a difference as Logistics and Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

As Logistics and Inventory Specialist, you will oversee the efficient management of our seed inventory and logistics processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing inventory by allocating seed lots to customer orders and assessing inventory for destroy or credit actions.
• Ensuring timely placement of intercompany transfer orders to meet forecasted sales.
• Coordinating import and export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate documentation.
• Overseeing inventory receipt and release for internal processing.
• Storing and managing quality-related information, documentation, and certifications in designated systems.
• Providing accurate and timely responses to internal customer inquiries about product information and availability.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Service, Sales, Warehousing, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless order handling and fulfilment. Externally, you’ll collaborate with forwarders and carriers to manage shipment details.

What You Bring As a Future Colleague

We’re looking for a candidate with:

• A higher professional education (degree level preferable) in Business related field or…
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of import and export regulations for domestic and international shipments is preferable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required and familiarity with forecasting and planning software also preferable.
• Mother language Italian.
• Preferably located within suitable traveling distance to Tarquinia.

In addition to these qualifications, we value a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure both under guidance and own initiative.
