Logistics Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Build 3PL relationship for long term partnership to support business needs i.e service level improvement, cost optimization, customer experience, etc.
• Attend recurrent business review meetings with fulfillment 3PLs to continuously make improvement in operational setup & support the long-term logistics strategy.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with 3PL to improve operations efficiency.
• SOPs creation & optimization for operational processes improvement & standardization.
• Monitor and manage the performance of main operational KPIs of logistics partners through dashboards and reports, and propose improvement ideas based on data analysis.
• Support with system integration and onboarding of new fulfillment tools & features in the platform from an operational point of view.
• Represent the marketplace culture within the warehouse, focusing on bringing a customer-centric culture in 3PL operations management.
• Link position between warehouse 3PL & sellers (stock owners) for improvement initiatives & incident management.
• Ensure best in class quality processes in the 3PL warehouse using a continuous improvement approach, from inbound to outbound passing through inventory accuracy, storage, etc.
• In charge of auditing 3PL operational processes and ensure these are aligned with company standards & values.
• Management of consumable replenishment in order to avoid stock rupture of packaging material.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of work experience in the logistics industry; experience in logistics for E-commerce platforms will be a plus.
• Good relationship with logistics partners, especially in fulfillment & warehousing.
• Used to work with data; analytics mindset. Knowledge of continuous improvement & lean methodologies will be a plus. Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Able to work autonomously with limited guidance.
• Knowledge of the technical part of 3PL system integration: WMS, OMS & TMS will be a plus.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, energetic and adaptive to change.
• Negotiation skills are a plus. Fluent in Italian and English languages.
• Willing to travel (locally) part/full time to the warehouse workplace.
