Partner with the best

The Lead Testing Project Engineer is the String Test focal contact from partner functions such as project management, project engineering, operations, and Customer.

He/She is responsible for developing the program and methodologies of String Test procedures from a technical standpoint, adhering to material requisition and BH quality standards.

He/She acts as Test Director, providing technical coordination during test execution, establishing the exact test sequence, both during internal and official tests, as well as assisting in the analysis and resolution of any non-conformity connected to String Test execution.

In this mission, He/She is also responsible for driving #Decarbonization initiatives following programs with partner universities and promoting #Digitalization of test methodology and procedures.

As Lead Testing Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the string test design timeline to ensure Customer requirements are met and criticalities solved prior to test procedure finalization.
• Supervising on-time delivery of engineering job documentation preceding test design.
• Reviewing contractual test requirements and providing feedback to the test engineering team.
• Drafting the official test reports and documentation/certificates related to test running.
• Verifying that project budget aligns with test procedure requirements and being responsible for mitigating extra costs by discussing different solutions with the Customer and project management team.
• Managing relationships and meetings with the Customer.
• Providing technical direction and support on fulfilling "CTQ critical to quality" during design and test execution.
• Providing mechanical system technical assistance on the test bench during plant erection.
• Ensuring that testing lessons learned are captured through a dedicated system.
• Site Performance test, technical assistance on demand.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a degree in engineering subjects: Mechanical, Energetic, Aeronautical engineering, and relatable work experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Show ability to manage and oversee multiple projects/activities with high intensity.
• Show ability to plan and lead cross-functional programs.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage high-level stakeholders, particularly Customer ones, and to define a proper communication plan within a matrix organization.
• Be an experienced problem solver, with an analytical approach identifying root causes and implementing improvement solutions.
• Display a good knowledge of turbomachinery system architecture & commissioning operations.
• Display knowledge of power plant operations.
• Be fluent in English and Italian and be able to work in the EU.
