Laboratory and Compliance Engineer

About the job

This role is responsible for managing and coordinating testing and validation activities, ensuring that products meet the required standards, monitoring timelines and specifications, and optimizing laboratory processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Your tasks

1. Strongly collaborate with berbel (Germany);
2. Execute testing activities, providing proactive feedback on the test results;
3. Be the interface with the company functions to receive information/materials within the time necessary for the correct performance of the activities;
4. Responsible for providing internal and external customers with the specific documentation and test reports;
5. Responsible for drafting product approval test plans and defining the timing of the testing activities (updating activity status, sending reports);
6. Collaborate with all internal functions involved in product validation;
7. Carry out specific projects as part of the implementation of product validations;
8. Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of laboratory processes by actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education and Experience

1. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering;
2. At least 4-5 years in similar positions in an international company of household appliances;
3. Demonstrated ability to work within and lead major cross-functional and global programs/groups.

Personal Qualification and Skills

1. Autonomy and strong drive for results, goal-oriented;
2. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills;
3. Good teamwork and communication;
4. English - Spoken: fluent, Written: professional;
5. Italian - Spoken: fluent, Written: professional;
6. German would be a huge asset;
7. Proficient in all MS Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
