What will you do?

As part of the Business Development Team, you will lead the entire business development cycle of UVE in the Italian market.

New Business Generation & Development

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Identify new business opportunities, primarily in the FMCG industry, with a focus on Food & Beverage companies.
  • Utilize existing business development strategies while developing new approaches based on market trends.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and first contact to pitching, demoing, needs assessment, proposal, negotiation, and closing, supported by senior BD team members when needed.
  • Represent UVE at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences (both in Italy and internationally) to generate relevant prospects.
  • Support the initial post-sale phase to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.

Industry Expertise

  • Continuously gather insights and build expertise on the FMCG and distribution landscape in Italy.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen UVE’s presence and increase brand awareness among key stakeholders in Italy.

Marketing and Communications

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to refine and enhance marketing and communication efforts in Italy.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Business Development team.
  • Learn from best practices within the team while sharing insights and experiences from the Italian market.
  • Actively engage in team meetings and events, both virtual and in-person.

Our ideal candidate profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in tech or services sales, ideally in a SaaS/PaaS environment.
  • Experience or knowledge of the FMCG industry is a strong plus.
  • Passion for technology and innovations that drive business growth.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory). Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with clients and internal teams.
  • Motivated to grow and take on more responsibility over time.
