Are you a Mechanical Engineering graduate with less than 2 years of experience? Your opportunity to supercharge your career is here at Vertiv! We're on the lookout for future innovators to join our R&D dynamic department in Tognana, Piove di Sacco (Italy).
What will you do in our team?
- Design and modify drawings and BOMs according to the global documentation system;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret cost and performance data;
- Lead EMEA projects;
- Participate in the design of unit mechanical parts and assembly drawings: improving, updating, and revising mechanical drawings as required, participating in the electrical design of HPAC units;
- Create and/or correct BOM structures in ERP;
- Create and/or correct configurator and configuration rules;
- Check the completeness of the requested information and the required annexes;
- Check the correct structure of the document and its parts;
- Check the correctness of the text in terms of its clarity, completeness, and correct grammar;
- Check and monitor priority changes and modifications efficiently and in a timely manner;
- Communicate with submitters and approvers on rejections, ambiguities, questions, and corrections to engineering documentation;
- Coordinate and track corrective change requests;
- Issue correct and approved documentation in a timely manner;
- Enter and complete simple CR requirements;
- Work on technical research and/or other technical tasks;
- Perform all other activities related to the agreed type of work as directed by the immediate supervisor;
- Adhere to the procedures, rules, and principles of the integrated management system;
- Work in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and the 5 S’s;
- Operate in accordance with ITC international trade rules;
- Contribute to the development and adherence to standards, focusing on the key areas of customer, company culture, and continuous improvement system;
- As part of the continuous improvement system, make improvement suggestions in line with company objectives;
- Respect the principles of environmental protection.
What will make you successful?
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Designer.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
- Knowledge of CAD CREO, Solid Edge, or Pro Engineer.
- Ability to read technical documentation.
- Knowledge of CAD Vaults.
- Knowledge of product database management systems (OraclePD + Oracle EBS).
- Good level of English – Written and spoken.
Time Travel Required: 10%
