Junior Knitwear Designer Emporio Armani Women

Context and Purpose of the job
You will join the Emporio Armani Women’s Fashion Design team and, in particular, you will focus on the knitwear category. As a Junior Designer, you will work closely together with the senior members of the team to assist them in all the activities and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the product development team.

Responsibilities

• Research trends and prepare moodboards
• Take part in the fitting sessions and support in identifying eventual fit problems
• Create sketches
• Create the technical sheets of the garments for the transition to Product Development
• Collaboration with the whole EA Women design team to ensure consistency between the various product categories

Requirements

• Degree in Fashion Design with a specialization in knitwear
• A previous internship or contract experience in knitwear would be a plus.
• Excellent drawing ability both by hand and with graphic software
• Technical knowledge of knitwear
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Precision and orientation to details
• Excellent ability to work in a team
