Job Description:

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

Your team is based in our office in Harlow and in Milan. They are taking care of our business based in Italy and across EMEA. You might expect a great atmosphere but also a lot of challenges, especially at the end of the month/quarter/year - but if you are already working as an Accountant, you probably know what we mean!

As a Junior General Ledger Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledger controlling and reporting, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team.

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?

• Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
• Control and prepare Monthly/Quarterly VAT Liquidation and Intrastat, prepare F24 for Withholding TAX.
• Support and be involved with audit work.
• Support supplier accounting for the correct recording of invoices for VAT and accounting purposes.
• Support other accountants within the team on a variety of tasks in order to meet the total needs of the finance department.
• Control and manage the accuracy of General Ledger for the assigned Arrow companies.
• Complete all relevant month-end financial close procedures including necessary accruals and prepayment activities.
• Carry out relevant Sarbanes Oxley controls.
• Provide support and assistance to the Accounting Manager on ad-hoc tasks.

What Are We Looking For?

• You've got experience with ITALIAN VAT.
• You've got a good knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes.
• You've got fluent English language skills.
• You've got experience with making an accrual, prepaid, ITA VAT, balance sheet reconciliation.
• You've got advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
• You are a results-driven person.
• You can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• You've got the ability to prioritize your tasks.

• You know any other European language e.g. Italian, French, Spanish etc.
