Junior Front-end Developer

We are looking for a Junior Front-end Developer (Internship) to join our engineering team.

You will work together with the team responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our websites and web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
2. Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
3. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
4. Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
5. Create and maintain software documentation
6. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our websites
7. Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
8. Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Requirements:

1. Problem-solving
2. Basic expertise in WordPress and basic concepts on theme development
3. Basic knowledge with bundler (Gulp / Webpack)
4. Basic experience with PHP Framework (Laravel) is a plus
5. Understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
6. Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process is a plus
7. Good problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
8. Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
9. Fluent in Italian and English
10. German is a plus
