Junior Cost Accountant -BOLOGNA

Adecco financial services for leading companies in online luxury and fashion is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant.

The candidate will assist the Cost Accountant team and provide support in managing warehouse accounting. They will be in strict contact with suppliers and will manage internal and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and checking the Digital Production progress
2. Cross-checking accounts and accounting documents
3. Identifying and resolving problems linked to the administrative and operative flow
4. Managing the attribution of purchase costs of products entering the warehouse for all buying types
5. Recording warehouse transactions for accounting purposes regarding both purchased and consignment goods
6. Supporting periodic and/or ad hoc internal reporting and managing the consignment reporting
7. Identifying process and/or system measures to optimize data flow and reliability
8. Supporting warehouse activities and evaluations periodically during the closing process
9. Checking the operative phase of the goods working progress and backlog reporting
10. Managing relationships with the main Luxury and Fashion Partners
11. Managing internal and external reporting

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate has a diploma in accounting or a university degree in economics. The profile is completed by:

1. Knowledge of accounting principles
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach
3. Excellent knowledge of English
4. Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
5. Knowledge of Navision and SQL will be considered a plus
