Investment Governance & Analytics - Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Investment Governance & Analytics team as maternity cover. In this role, you will provide support in coordinating strategic projects across Generali Investments affiliates, ensuring alignment with the company's governance standards and investment objectives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to key strategic initiatives.

Main Tasks:

• Data Analysis & Monitoring: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision-making processes related to investments and strategic projects.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to Generali Investments' funds performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Must have:

• Degree in Business Administration (Finance major preferred).
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
• At least 1 year experience in the asset management sector; experience in investments, project management, or a related area is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in the asset management industry would be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of investment management software is a plus.
• Familiarity with investment tools such as Morningstar or other similar platforms is an advantage.

The Investment Governance & Analytics' team seats in Generali Investments Holding under the Chief Investment Steering & Sustainability Officer function. The mission of the team is defining and maintaining the investment governance framework across the asset management remit, also in case of transformation projects. The structure also defines the investment analytics framework for Generali Investments in coordination with the relevant functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Defines governance rules and coordination mechanisms.
• Provides guidelines on key topics to ensure alignment of all Asset Management companies and upgrade Generali Investments in terms of investments capabilities.
• Structures key investment-related processes with the objective to streamline and optimize the investment activities across Generali Investments.
• Coordinate and oversee investment management initiatives and interactions within Generali Investments and with other Group functions, acting as focal point for cross-functional/entities activities.
• Define the asset management business central investment data analytics framework.
• Develop and maintain qualitative reporting on Asset Management Companies' main data (e.g., performances, inflows and outflows, risk metrics). Ensure the provision of proper and timely investment analytics for management reporting to key stakeholders.
