Job Purpose

Within the Strategic CEO Projects Department, the Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and monitoring of AZ Group projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders from different departments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope. The PMO provides governance, oversight, and guidance to project team members. The PMO plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinates and is responsible for consolidation of Projects milestone plans in the overall strategic activities planning. Monitors and tracks activities progress of the various projects and reports any critical issues to the Program Lead.
  2. Evaluates and prioritizes activities to ensure delivery of Program goals.
  3. Coordinates and facilitates the communication among team members within Strategic CEO Projects Dept.
  4. Owns and coordinates the preparation of reporting documents for top management and program related presentations for AZ Group Strategic/Planning Dialogue.
  5. Provides tools, templates and support to team members. Promotes best practices and continuous improvement in project management processes.

Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

  1. University degree or equivalent experience (e.g. Business Administration, Management Engineering, etc…)
  2. Proven Experience (3-5 years) in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement.
  3. Knowledge of processes related to insurance/financial services industry and/or experience in Insurance Business would be an advantage.
  4. Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance.
  5. Communication, facilitation and conflict management skills.
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  7. Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.
