THE BRITISH SCHOOL OF CASALE is a dynamic school located in Casale Monferrato, Piedmont. As a Cambridge Assessment English Authorised Centre, we offer a range of courses linked to the Common European Framework, providing students with valuable skills and competencies recognized across Europe. The school is accredited by the Ministry of Education (MIM) for professional development courses aimed at training State School teachers. Our Life-long Learning Agency, British School FORMA, is also accredited by Regione Piemonte for non-vocational training, mostly General English language courses from A2 to B2.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an ESL teacher (English as a Second Language) at THE BRITISH SCHOOL OF CASALE in Casale Monferrato.

Applicants must be familiar with Cambridge English exams, open to learning about the job, and have class management skills. They must be able to work in a team. Class management skills, which include assessment and keeping registers, are essential.

The School has its own LMS and delivers online courses as well. The candidate should therefore be familiar with Zoom and Google Meet.

Requirements:

• MUST be eligible to work in Italy (EU citizen, residence permit issued in Italy, or dual nationality).
• Have a certificate of higher education / a university degree.
• Have a teaching qualification.
• Have at least 3 years of teaching experience.
• Have a driving licence: teachers must be able to drive the school car for their lessons.
• Have some working knowledge of Italian.
• Have experience with online courses.

• English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills.
• Experience with IELTS preparation.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Relevant teaching certifications or qualifications.
