Injection Production Manager

Envolve Consulting, an independent company active in management search, selects an Injection Production Manager for a prestigious international company operating in the plastics sector.

He/She is responsible for the production of molded plastic parts in compliance with production planning.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Receives from Logistics the planning of production orders and ensures its execution.
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of production processes.
• Ensures the achievement of objectives by planning the activity of the lines and assigning the resources to guarantee the realization of the products in compliance with the delivery dates defined by Logistics.
• Coordinates the shift leaders and the head of toolmakers so that the machines are equipped and managed correctly.
• Verifies that the controls on the parameters of the machines in production are correctly carried out.
• Reports to Mould Making Dept. malfunction of the moulds, gripping hands, cutting fixtures and so on; interfaces with Quality and Logistics for the planning and realization of the tests of new moulds and new products.
• Collaborates with Quality for the resolution of non-compliance and for the implementation of corrective actions.
• Interfaces with Mould Engineering in case of request of products not in the catalogue.
• Manages the request to modify production cycles and communicates to Quality according to the specific procedure.
• Verifies the congruence between realization time and feasibility of the products.
• Guarantees compliance with the regulations on workplace safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection.
• Collaborates with Maintenance & Engineering Dept. for the continuous improvement activities and for the definition of new equipment/machines/infrastructure.
• Manages the working time of injection operators and tool setters.

Education and experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in injection moulding.

Place of work: Treviso.
