HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

Johnson's Air Conditioning is the longest established air conditioning company in Naples since 1960. We are seeking motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our team. Routine maintenance experience is preferred, but we will train the exceptional candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Clean & maintain air conditioning, heating & ventilation systems in both residential and commercial applications.
• Inspect and document the actual performance of the machines.
• Follow all procedures for cleaning of equipment, washing of filters, replacing filters, UV lamps, and associated maintenance items.
• Document conditions found.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff, managers, homeowners, etc.
• NO SELLING.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience in HVAC or other related fields is preferred; willing to train an exceptional candidate!
• Ability to handle physical demands and workload.
• Ability to reach areas not easily accessible by means of climbing, stooping, and bending.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and maneuver in attics and homes to access HVAC equipment.
• Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.

Teamwork is a priority; technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed. Must be willing to work overtime as hours do fluctuate.

All candidates are required to submit to a background check, drug screening, and MVR driving record check.
