Our Client is an international company leader in the medical device industry.

Offerta

  • Play a critical role in the harmonization activities.

  • Pre-Close:
    • Manage the Union integration consultation on the acquisition side and set up the Union partnership and operating rhythm for post close.
    • Support the change management and communications team with the overarching employee onboarding plan.
    • Review existing policies in both companies and ensure with HR compliance that there is readiness on policies and compliance with local legislation and share deal requirements.
    • Support and coordinate the roll out of communication on Compensation & Benefits changes and approach in alignment with Total Rewards and the HR Integration DRI.
    • Co-own with total rewards the plan for harmonization of compensation and benefits plans post.
    • Define the details and execution plan for any workforce changes in support of the direction set by the business leadership and HR legal counsel and Employee relations.
  • Post close:
    • Be the long hand of the Company HR on the ground helping employees understand the model and the culture. Ensure ongoing education on the HR Service Delivery Model and HR philosophy specifically Total Rewards and Talent Mgmt (e.g., job architecture, employee lifecycle processes), education on the company HR processes and approach.
    • Facilitate cultural integration.
    • Support the management of ER issues in local language or where in person presence is necessary.
    • Support the annual comp process approach for the New Company.
    • Advise managers on planned org changes and job content evolution and involve the HR Leaders for strategy and direction as needed.
  • Country People Solutions partnership
    • Collaborate with regional leadership team to drive organization culture, inclusion, and employee engagement.
    • Serve as connection point to COEs to customize local policies, solutions, and programs, to meet business needs.
    • Deliver recurring regional/site HR cyclical programs and core process execution generated with COE and HR Leaders.
    • Deliver coaching and consulting to regional senior management and employees to drive a high-performance culture at a regional level.
    • Partner with HR Leaders and business regional leaders to support talent assessment and organizational talent planning for identified employee population.
    • Ensure delivery of a sustainable, consistent employee experience aligned with the HR strategy and employee value proposition.
    • Continuously monitor performance of HR cyclical programs locally and deal with COEs providing real-time feedback, when needed.
    • Effectively support communications with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., COEs, with comms team) across the organization.
    • Help find the right balance of local requirements and global policies.
    • Own and manage relationship with local employee representative bodies (e.g., works councils, unions) if applicable.
    • Own and manage relationship with external labor local authorities (Occupational Medicine, Labor Inspector, Unions).
    • Support Compliance, ER cases, crisis management and investigations (as needed) at the site.

  • Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, objectivity with the highest professional ethics, and always maintain confidentiality.

  • Versatile and action-oriented; ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner so the message easily translates across all areas of the organization, locations, and/or cultures.

  • Organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish demanding timelines.
  • Must have the ability to work at strategic, operational, and tactical levels on a global scale.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Business acumen with ability to align HR initiatives with site-specific needs.

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources in a client-facing role supporting senior management.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a global and distributed work environment.
  • Experience with leading organization transformation and integrations activities (pre and post close) with significant cultural differences between companies.
  • Experience with managing labor relations, with knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or HR-related field desired.
  • SHRM certification or equivalent a plus, not required.
  • Locally relevant language(s), as required by the position.
  • Travel required as HR support could cover multiple locations.
