The Position
Human Resources Administration Specialist (6-month internship)
- 80 FTE’s for the operation site of Domodossola
- Admin support for all Italian sites (Avezzano, Massa Carrara, Monte Sparau, Civita Castellana, Talc, Corsico)
- Reporting to Country HR Manager Italy
- Location: Domodossola
Job Summary: The HR Administration Specialist is responsible for supporting the HR Country Manager Italy in all HR daily administrative tasks, overseeing HR-related tasks of core HR management from staffing, onboarding, payroll and administration (in collaboration with an external payroll provider), labor relations, and exits for the 4 operation sites in collaboration with the HR Team and in accordance with the guidelines of Imerys Group.
Key Tasks
Manage to pay:
- Ensure monthly payroll preparation by providing relevant data input (unpaid leave, seniority, etc.)
- Leverage the human resource information system to effectively manage HR processes and maintain the accuracy of HR systems data through monthly checks
- Support in ensuring times and absences management
- Prepare internal reports, such as headcount reports and statistics
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees
- Manage day-to-day HR administration activities providing certificates, declarations, and other documents upon personnel needs and requests
- Prepare work contracts
- Update personnel folders
Recruitment, onboarding, and training:
- Ensure business needs in terms of staffing and recruitment according to guidelines delivered at the country level.
- Ensure the application of local laws/company procedures for work environment/safety
- Keep updated the internal training & development records with respect to country procedures.
Background and Key Competencies
- BSc. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
- Proven working experience as an HR specialist
- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Fluent in both Italian and English
- Excellent knowledge of current Italian labor rules and regulations
- Good interpersonal skills, empathetic with the ability to flexibly approach different internal customers
- Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize regularly, and manage a high workload flow. A high degree of personal judgment is required.

- Ability to understand organizational needs and the motivation of people and combine this towards a realistic business development plan
