About the role

For our Group Company Renantis Solutions, aimed at providing services aligned with customer requirements while also guaranteeing the protection of the environment, we are looking for a Senior Professional willing to join as Head of Operations.

In this role, you will lead the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and O&M teams of small and medium-sized PV plants located in Italy.

Job Description

Within Renantis Solutions, part of a fast-growing company where everyday new challenges and growth opportunities arise, we expect our new colleague to deal with the following responsibilities:

• Project management from RTB projects to the turn-key handover of small and mid-scale PV plants in Italy (rooftop and ground-mounted).
• Coordinate the project preparation including technical design, subcontracting, procurement, and time scheduling.
• Ensure that the Design Department guarantees the correct, cost-effective, and on-time design deliverables for all projects (both in development and in construction stages), coordinating both internal and external resources.
• Apply the right strategies and actions in order for the Procurement Area to deliver all materials, services, and contracting activities correctly.
• Participate in market surveys following renewable market trends in the company’s target countries/areas.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support Business Development in cost analysis.
• Manage an efficient project rollout according to defined schedule, cost control, and quality control, operating with internal and external contractors and conducting risk analysis.
• Coordinate the O&M team responsible for O&M activities for all small-sized power plants based in Italy, managing the PV portfolio belonging to Renantis Solutions: plan and coordinate maintenance operations (preventive, curative) as well as asset management.
• A great attention to sustainability will be required during all development activities.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Project Management.
• 10 years of working experience and at least 5 years in similar roles.
• Understanding of project risks and mitigations.
• Good knowledge of maintenance processes.
• Outstanding knowledge of grid connection procedures and works as well as plant commissioning.
• Team management experience.
• Very good knowledge of HSE requirements and a strong approach to HSE practices.
• Fluent in English.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail and quality of delivered services.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
