About the job
In this role you will report directly to the Head of Global Communication, and your main duties will be the following:
- Developing and implementing the global PR strategy for brand and product communications, aligning with the overall marketing, communications, and business objectives.
- Owning the global narrative for the company's brand and product portfolio, ensuring a consistent and authentic voice across all external touchpoints.
- Collaborating closely with brand marketing and creative teams to support campaigns and product launches with targeted PR efforts.
- Developing creative and compelling press materials (press releases, product descriptions, media kits, etc.) to generate excitement around new products and drive media coverage.
- Partnering with product development and design teams to ensure understanding of product stories and key messages.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key global media outlets, fashion/lifestyle publications, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Acting as the primary spokesperson and media contact for all brand and product-related inquiries.
- Working closely with local PR teams to adapt global strategies to local markets while ensuring consistency in brand messaging and product positioning.
- Providing guidance and support to local teams for local media outreach, press events, and influencer collaborations.
- Collaborating with content, creative, and digital teams to develop engaging PR content that resonates with target audiences.
- Developing storytelling initiatives that highlight the craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation behind the brand's products.
- Leading and managing global PR agencies to execute strategies that align with the brand's vision and goals.
- Establishing KPIs to measure the success of PR campaigns, including media coverage, brand sentiment, and PR-driven traffic.
- Reporting regularly to senior management on PR performance, competitive analysis, and key media insights.
About you
We are looking for a motivated leader, who brings along the following background:
- 10 years of experience in public relations, with a strong focus on consumer brands, luxury goods, or fashion/jewelry industries.
- Proven ability to lead global PR teams and manage agencies in multiple regions.
- Deep knowledge of global media landscape, key publications, influencers, and industry trends.
- Ability to translate brand and product strategies into compelling PR campaigns.
- Innovative approach to PR storytelling, content creation, and media engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience in preparing spokespersons for media interactions.
- Comfortable using data to measure PR effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
